A path between olive groves allows us to go up the slopes of Mount Ursino (121 meters) from the top of which the grandiose and spectacular ruins of the Castle (begun in the 11th century) dominate Noli. Inside, we will be able to walk on the walkways that overlook the “keep” and flank the high circular watchtower. Two curtains of crenellated walls (13th century) descend to the cliffs overlooking the sea and towards the town. It is the best preserved defensive monument in all of western Liguria.
