The itinerary, moving from Palazzo Golli, today seat of the town hall with its beautiful stone entrance portal of the Finale of the fifteenth century and the medallions of the Roman era (second century), will touch the main architectural emergencies of the historic center: the basilica of San Nicolò, begun in 1745, the result of the vote of the Pietresi after the miracle of liberation from the plague occurred on July 8, 1525, through the intercession of San Nicolò; the remains of the ancient Castrum Petrae, erected in a strategic position, chosen by the Romans to control today’s Via Aurelia below; the ancient parish church.
